Senator. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola

Also known as “Yayi”, I was born on 10 August 1969. I am a Nigerian politician currently serving as the Senator representing Ogun West, a position I assumed in 2023. Prior to this, I served as the Senator representing Lagos West from 2015 to 2023.
Earlier in my legislative career, from 2011 to 2015, I served as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts. I am a chartered accountant and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).

Senator Adeola spent 12 years at The Guardian Newspapers Limited, advancing to the role of Accountant. He then joined Olatunji Omoyeni & Co as Senior Auditor before founding SOOTEM Nigeria Limited, where he served as MD & CEO specializing in tax consultancy.

I hereby, formally declare my intention to contest in the 2027 general elections, guided by a clear and practical vision for a stronger, fairer Ogun State.
Beginning in March 2026, our campaign will be rooted in listening, inclusion, and real solutions for jobs, infrastructure, healthcare, and security.
Together, we will move from promises to performance, from reforms to measurable impact, and build the Ogun State our people truly deserve.
